Congratulations once again to Dr. Wegner and his team for winning the Best of Omaha award as Omaha's Best Cosmetic Dentist for the 5th straight year. Dr. Wegner has finished in first place in five of the past sixyears in the dental category.

Dr. Wegner Earns Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry

Dr. Steve Wegner received his Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry this summer at a convocation ceremony in Washington, D.C. Mastership is the highest honor achievable in the Academy and one of the most respected and recognizable designations in the dental profession. Masters have profoundly demonstrated the professional obligation to maintain and advance their technical skills and knowledge.

To achieve Mastership, a dentist must complete a minimum of 1,100 hours of approved continuing education, pass a written exam, and display clinical competence in all the disciplines of general dentistry. At least 400 of those hours must be accrued in participation courses; actual "hands-on" training that involves application of a technique or skill under close supervision by a highly qualified expert. In other words, they have to be trained by the best to be the best. Dr. Wegner is one of only 3 Masters in private practice in Nebraska.



Dr. Wegner Earns Another Silver Medal for Smile Design

For the second straight year, Dr. Wegner won a Silver Medal in the International Smile Gallery Competition held in conjunction with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry meeting. This competition brings entries from all over the world to be judged. This year's entry showed the benefits of a straighter, brighter, and more youthful smile.
