Originally from Fremont, Nebraska, Dr. Wegner completed his undergraduate
studies in 1975 and went on to achieve his DDS degree at Creighton
University in 1979. He and his wife, Terri have two children, Aaron (and
daughter-in-law Brooke),
Megan and son-in-law, AJ.
Dr. Wegner invested thousands of hours in postgraduate education in
dentistry. In 2005, Dr. Wegner earned his Mastership—the highest honor
awarded by the Academy of General Dentistry. He has completed Levels 1-5
at the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute in Florida focusing on diagnosis,
comprehensive treatment, and treatment of jaw joint and muscle (TMD) disorders. Dr. Wegner has also had advanced surgical training to place dental implants and perform gum tissue grafting.
Dr. Wegner and his team have participated in several hands-on clinical and
state-of-the-art "smile design" programs at the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum
(PACLIVE) in San Francisco. Dr. Wegner now teaches dentists, their teams, and
lab technicians how to create these same beautiful smiles for their patients.

Community Service:
Dr. Wegner is a volunteer for "Give Back a Smile", a program to provide better smiles for women victims of domestic violence. His commitment to a life of service has taken him to Mexico, South Carolina and Florida on mission trips with Yucatan Presbyterian Ministries and Habitat for Humanity. He also served in leadership at his church, Countryside Community Church, assisting with confirmation and Senior High Youth Group activities and on the Board of Trustees.
